Love is what's left at the end of everything.

Sometimes we want to be able to help someone whom we love very much but we find that we can do nothing. Circumstances will not allow us to approach them, or the person is so closed off to any gesture of support.
At these times, when we can really do nothing, perhaps we can still love....without expecting any reward or change or gratitude....

Love is what we are left with.

We can continue to love - and who knows? The energy of our love could begin to transform people around us and it could achieve many things.....

"Time does not transform man, will power does not transform man. Love transforms."

But sometimes love can destroy. It's when it becomes something we keep inside us that we struggle with. When it becomes something which starts demanding for its rights and overdoing it.

Love is a many splendoured thing
It's the April rose that only grows in the early spring
Love is nature's way of giving, a reason to be living
The golden crown that makes a man a king

Once on a high and windy hill, in the morning mist
Two lovers kissed and the world stood still
Then your fingers touched my silent heart
and taught it how to sing

Yes, true love's a many splendoured thing
